Kansas University basketball signee J.R. Giddens has been named to the Global Games Select Team, which will compete against international competition June 29-July 5 at Southern Methodist University's Moody Coliseum in Dallas.
Giddens, a 6-foot-5, 185-pounder from Oklahoma City, will be joined on the U.S. men's 21 and under team by fellow prep All-Americans Mustafa Shakur and Aaron Brooks, plus Texas standouts Warren Carter, Jeremis Smith, LaMarcus Aldridge and Dez Willingham, who is headed to Kansas State.
