Bio: Pralle was KU's first consensus All-American and led KU to
three straight Big Six titles (1936, 1937, 1938). He also was a three-time
all-conference selection, and led the Jayhawks in scoring back-to-back years.

Fred Pralle had one of the most successful careers in KU basketball history being a two-time All-American choice at guard (’37 and ’38), a three-time All-Big Six selection and playing on three straight conference champions (the ’37 team was co-champ). He led the squad in scoring both his junior and senior years, and led the conference in ’38 with a 10.7 average. He also captained the squad that year.

Fred Pralle was KU's first consensus All-American. He was named All-American in 1937 and 1938. He earned All-Conference honors three times while leading the Jayhawks to three conference titles.
