inducted into the Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame at Cowley County Community College
on Feb. 17. Sparks, who set the school's single-game record for field goals with
22, was a juco All-America selection in 1961and a two-time All-Jayhawk
Conference pick at Cowley. He went on to play at Kansas from 1961- 63.
